CRTs
Tubes
The state of my CRT tube collection, in June 2020. Not a lot has changed since then. These are unique models, multiple quantities of the same tube are not shown here.
Apart from the two tubes on the far left (RCA 6499 “Radechon” data storage tube) and far right (Raytheon CK1414 “Symbolray” character generating tube), all the other CRTs are monochrome display tubes designed for oscilloscopes, TVs and various other vintage equipments.
The two right in the center are magnetic, white phosphor (P4) TV tubes, and all the other models are electrostatic, with different phosphor variants (P1 green, P4 white, P7 blue with yellow long persistence, P11 dark blue fast, and P31 yellowish green fast). The two on the front row to the far left are black & white Sinclair pocket TV tubes, one of which is one of a kind, flat with a side electron gun and a very clever beam deflection system. This was made specifically for the Sinclair FTV1 pocket TV.
The one from the back row to the left (Dumont 5SP11A) and the one from the middle row also to the left just in front of it (3ABP11), are both dual electron gun CRTs with P11 dark blue very short persistence phosphor made for oscilloscope signal photography applications.
One tube is not shown here, the one used on my Sgitheach SCDue CRT clock, a Brimar D10-230GH (P31).
